Volunteer Day at Real Food Farm
Real Food Farm, is an innovative urban agricultural enterprise that aims to improve neighborhood access to healthy food by growing produce and making it affordable to low-income customers.
Not at 2701 St. Lo Drive, but instead at 3 blocks of vacant lots at 1950 Perlman Place just south of Clifton Park. However, they have 50 volunteers joining them so it may not be a good day to bring a large family group or a large group of more than 5 volunteers.
Saturday 5/21 is a smaller volunteer day at their main farm location, Clifton farm, at 2801 St Lo Drive. I am not in town on the 21st, but others can go to that volunteer day as they wish. If there are others who would like to join me in a small group for the 14th at 1950 Perlman Place please see me.
We will meet in the parking lot south of the school. Sunday School families encouraged. When we end at noon, if there is enough interest we’ll follow it up with a potluck picnic. Speak to Hugh if interested!
