“Share Your Favorite Poem Day”

April may be National Poetry Month in the U.S., World Poetry Day is March 21st, and Poetry Day in the UK is in October but we can enjoy poetry any time we want. At BES’ monthly Poetry Salon participants share poems written by themselves or others and talk about why they wanted to share the work, and others may also comment on it. For this Summer Sunday, members of the Poetry Salon will start things off and then facilitate as those attending share their favorite poems (again, by themselves or others) and why they love that poem so much. Come prepared to read and listen.

Karen Elliott and Kirk Mullen are members of the Baltimore Ethical Society and are presenting this platform as a part of our “Summer Sundays” when we invite our members to present on topics of interest to them.
