Money, Power, and Freedom: Meditations on Ethics and Political Economy

Why does the federal government always seem to have funds available for weapons of war and big bank bailouts, while supposedly lacking the money for progressive programs like universal healthcare and a Green New Deal? This talk will explore these issues and others in an examination of some of the ethical dimensions of our capitalist economy.
