“Mediation: ‘We’re Looking for Trouble’”

This interactive talk will focus on the work of the Baltimore Community Mediation Center and the various ways the Center addresses many types of conflict; kinds of conflict that might be appropriate for mediation; and conflicts that might specifically arise during the pandemic.

Claudia Leight is a volunteer mediator with the Baltimore Community Mediation Center. She has worked for over 40 years as a counselor at Morgan State University before being trained in mediation.  She has been involved in social justice movements for many years and lives in Baltimore city.
