“Housing our Neighbors: Organizing for Housing Justice in Baltimore”

This presentation will share a brief introduction to Housing our Neighbors history and biography and talk about some of the work they have done and what they are currently doing.

Housing Our Neighbors is a community group led by people experiencing homelessness and their allies, fighting for the human right to housing. They are working to end homelessness in Baltimore City through access to permanent affordable housing for all. They advance the right to housing through education, leadership development, direct actions, political advocacy, and grassroots community organizing. They practice consensus decision making and believe that every voice will be heard and respected.
