“Racial Justice Unpacked: Healthcare as a Racial Issue”

Technology has given us the opportunity to see with our own eyes the brutality that some people experience in our society because of race. Yet many people who want to help don’t understand the social impact of race on health. In this talk, we will present key insights into how health equity has to be the center of any change process for communities. We will explain how the work is different when it is based on a racial justice framework that addresses structural racism and ties in inclusive practices.
