“Coast to Coast and Host to Host: Our Cross-Country Home-Hospitality Bicycle Adventure”

Max Romano and Maya Kosok will share stories from their 2010 tandem cross-country bike adventure. They will especially focus on their experiences staying in 37 different people’s homes through three hospitality organizations: Couchsurfing, Servas, and Warmshowers.

Max and Maya will talk about how you can travel or host as a way to broaden your world and make travel affordable, how to build humanist relationships through travel, some tips for successful visits, and some highlights from their bike trip and other home stays throughout their travels.
