Diversity

When it was founded in 1950, the Baltimore Ethical Society was the first racially integrated religious congregation in Baltimore.

The Baltimore Ethical Society strives to be a safe, welcoming community for all members and guests, regardless of race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, economic status, creed, age, or disability. We ask that members and guests show respect for one another in their words and actions so that BES may continue to honor the worth and dignity of every human being.

Everyone is welcome to join our activities and our caring ethics-centered community.
